We are Fentanyl Free Oregon, a nonprofit organization with the mission to alert and inform Oregonians – especially youth – about the deadly nature of street fentanyl (and other drugs) through community engagement and substance use prevention strategies.
What is fentanyl?
Fentanyl is a powerful synthetic opioid analgesic that is similar to morphine but is 50 to 100 times more potent. In its prescription form it is prescribed for pain, but fentanyl is also made illegally.
